South Hams Rally for Nature - Creative Session

We’re inviting local event providers and creatives to play a leading role in shaping a bold and inspiring district-wide nature rally.

The aim of the programme is to help connect people with nature and the beauty of the South Hams and in so doing increase awareness of and care for our beautiful surroundings.

This is a collaborative initiative with South Hams District Council, and we want the rally to be infused with creativity, imagination and local voice from the very beginning. The hope is that as well as creating some new events specifically for the programme, that many existing projects and venues can be incorporated and promoted as part of the celebration: a coordinated events programme will have greater impact and influence more people.

We’re hosting a creative consultation session on Tuesday 15 July to:

• Explore ideas and possibilities for the rally
• Understand what role the creative sector could play
• Identify sectors and groups who may wish to get involved

Whether you run existing engagement projects, events or venues, or represent collectives of artists and communicators who may wish to be involved, then we’d love to hear from you. Please also feel free to pass this on to others who you feel may be interested.
