About this event
Wellbeing for changemakers is the priositisation of the mental, emotional, and physical health of individuals dedicated to social change. This includes recognising challenges and stressors, and providing resources and support to help them maintain well-being while striving for positive change.
As proactive members of the community, it can often become challenging to maintain energy levels and mental health, particularly when faced with those opposed to change. This is why we are going to spend a session looking at wellbeing for changemakers; what it is, how it is measured and how environmental project leaders can take advantage of the wellbeing benefits of their activities.
We will be joined by Roger Higman from the Network of Wellbeing to guide us through ways that we can all benefit from focusing on our wellbeing. More details to follow.
This event will be held in the Lovelace Room at The Mansion in Totnes.
