Nature based solutions consider how we can work with nature to deliver to humans and to environmental efforts. These can include a huge range of possibilities, including natural flood management, green prescribing for wellbeing, tree planting to shade fish spawning areas, conservation grazing and much more.

The Sustainable South Hams team has had a great few weeks meeting groups and organisations working to restore and protect nature in and around South Hams.
Life on the Edge, a heritage lottery funded project of the South Devon National Landscape, is working hard to partner with community organisations across the South Hams in order to deliver its overall objective of a ‘landscape buzzing with wildlife’.
No doubt many of the SuSH readers had fun getting involved in some form of hedge-y activity during the recent National Hedge Week: what great weather for encouraging folks to be outside!
